Ace of Pentacles

A single apple sits there, pristine and all alone on the table in front of you. It isn’t really your ideal color or size, but you pick it up anyway – and suddenly, in your hand, it is. The moment your fingers brushed the skin, it was made for you. The perfect shade, the perfect weight, and you look it over in its perfect shape. And, almost all at once, just as it changed, you’re…suspicious.

Upright

There’s a new chance to lay your hands on something wonderful, tailored to your needs and wants – but it’s understandable that you hesitate. You’ve looked it over, and looked it over again, and then again, and it may look too good to be true, probably because it all still involves some work. It isn’t an end-all solution, but permission to take the first steps, a new resource where once there was only the hint of a flower.

Reversed

There’s still no one around, and it isn’t really yours, is it? You could set it back down, and occupy yourself with the “what if” of if it’s not yours to begin with. You could miss that window, and only have a story to tell. That, or you keep thinking of all the times in the past things didn’t quite work out, either. There’s no shame in protecting yourself, but you’re still hungry. A choice must be made. You therefore drop it into your bag, which begins to smell sooner rather than later…
