Blackbird Parlor is a publishing imprint and consultation service in the city of γ̷̢̛̹͖̫̹̹̱̐͒̈́̾͊͂̕Ɉ̷̧̛̩̥̇͑̕̕i̵̧̧̩̮̤̪͉̱̽̒̋͜͠ɔ̸̛̖̥̎̈͆͑̋͋̿͑ ̶̹̱́̑̄̚͝ɘ̷͙̰̥̝̼̽̇ʜ̷̡̣͙̪͖͇̟̥͍̹̃̽͂͜ͅͅɈ̶̛̬̯̈́̈́̑̓̒̂̅̈́̔. Members of staff offer unique insight into oblique problems and questions, specializing in uncomfortable truths to combat nightmarish lies, and unbaptism rituals every Saturday afternoon.
The organization began as a response to popularized publishing philosophies such as waiting around for an agent to view a work as miraculously on-trend enough to be the next “book that is not this book,” or the industry tendency to desire appeal to as wide an audience as possible. Specifically in the spheres of witchcraft and the occult, we strive for appropriate and honest motivations and citations, especially those that do not bear the taste of serpent’s tail, encourage grandiose reincarnated alchemists, or approve of irresponsible syncretism by English cult leaders.
We are also expanding into human-based publications, our flagship novel Sydney West by David B. McKinsey now available through everywhere on your version of Earth that can order newly printed books, upon request. Please consider BookShop.org or your local library before resorting to your well-known corporate overlords.
To get in touch with us, we respond to psychic inquiries via unsettling visions at inopportune moments. For everyone else, please use our {contact page}.
